Saturday - July 15^th, 2000

Meet at the Salem park at 2:00 p.m. Try to wear something to identify which family you come from. Games will be organized and swimming is available at the city pool.

 

Every family bring snacks (bars, chips, or relish tray) and drinks, (pop, beer) for afternoon and evening. Please bring a dessert for the evening meal.

Then we will gather at the Salem Armory for a catered supper at 5:30 p.m. A program will be given by various talent, (and not so talented) relatives! A video or two will be shown about our families. Larry Kolbeck offered to be the MC. Please pay for meal at the door which will be about $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for kids 6 to 12 years old.

Sunday – July 16^th

A Mass will be offered at 9:30 am at the century old church of St. Mary’s in Salem for all our deceased relatives. Our grandparents and great-grandparents attended this church. Coffee, rolls and juice will be served at the Legion Hall on main street after Mass.

12:00 Noon: For those who wish, we will conclude our reunion with a short prayer at the grave of Barney and Mary Kolbeck at St. Mary’s Cemetery, and then visit the graves of many of our other relatives buried there.
